ESP MATIC Learning Hub

EsPMatic Learning Hub is a DepEd Batangas Province initiative offering a quality-assured, online platform for Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP) resources, supporting MELC-based assessment and instruction. It provides digital tools, modules, and activities designed to facilitate Scribd learning in DepEd Tayo Batangas multimodal and DepEd Batangas Province integrative environments for teachers and learners. EsP MATIC is a seminar/course given to those EsP teachers to enhance and give various teaching strategies in teaching in EsP.

FILIPINO VALUES MONTH

Theme: Serbisyo at Mabuting Asal: Pamilya at Trabaho, Magkasabay sa Pagpapakatao

Calatagan National High School celebrated Filipino Values Month throughout the entire month of November 2025 in accordance with Presidential Proclamation. 479, issued on October 24, 1994 seeks to promote the strengthening of Filipino culture, values, and ideal--- Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Makakalikasan and Makabansa. This year’s division theme , “Serbisyo at Mabuting Asal: Pamilya at Trabaho, Magkasabay sa Pagpapakatao” emphasizes nurturing core Filipino Values- integrity, respect and empathy- to build responsible, compassionate and values-drven individuals. In response to this activity, Calatagan National High School conducted activities by grade level based on the suggested activities that highlighted important Filipino family values, showcasing the creativity, reflection, and sincerity of the learners.

"HEARTLENS"

Calatagan National High School proudly secured SECOND PLACE at the Sub-office level Festival of Talents entitled “Heartlens.” The event was held on January 9, 2026 at Lucsuhin National High School. The competition highlighted the creativity, skills, and values of participating students, where Calatagan NHS demonstrated excellence and teamwork. Their achievement reflects the dedication of both learners and mentors in showcasing their talents. This recognition brings pride to the school and serves as an inspiration for continuous growth and active participation in future academic and co-curricular activities.
