Baclaran Elementary School Unit II has its humble beginning as an annex of Baclaran Elem. School Central. It was housed in a rented 8 room 2 storey building on the corner of J. Correa. On January 1961, it became an independent school and was named Baclaran Elem. School II as a primary school but eventually flourished as a complete elementay school on 1965. School administrators took turns . Due to the demand of high school building, Baclaran Elementary School III was merged with Baclaran Unit II.
After so many changes, it was in 1973, under the leadership of Ms. Carmelita C. Sabino, Filipino- Chinese Building was replaced by Golez Building and became the permanent house of BES II populace . On Nov. 2000, Mrs. Amparo C. Sunga served as officer-in-charge and eventually became the principal . On January 2002 Dr. Aurora O. Barron took over and continued upgrading teaching competencies to meet the challenges of RBEC 2002. Mrs. Sonia Bernardo took over on Sept. 2004. Dr. Aurora O. Barron was reassigned on Sept. 5 , 2005 . She worked out the construction of two storey building which replaced the Old Filipino-Chinese Chamber building . On January 2006 Mr. Nemesio B. Bunnao took over the stewardship of the school. Teachers were given the chance to attend seminars that paved the way to their professional growth .
From June 28, 2009 to Sept. 25, 2012 BES II is under the leadership of Teresita S. Medina . She as a school head established harmonious working relationship with almost everyone ; Teachers , GPTA , Barangay officials , NGO , Safe Kids Philippines w/c led to the beautification of the school.
On Sept. 26, 2012 Ma. Dolora M. Zaragoza was transferred to this school. She became responsible for the enhancement of teachers’ skills, school improvement performance, physical facilities development and also gave further strength to the school’s needs by creating linkages and better communication with stakeholders. In addition to this, it is under her management when Olivarez building was built.
More improvements and developments are continuously being done by the present Principal, Ma. Carina L. Bautista. Two buildings had been built from 2017 to 2019. There is still another building under construction and the school is looking forward for a 1 shift class with fully functional facilities on all grade levels by the next school year.
