A Brief History of Baculod Elementary School

In January 2004, Mrs. Ricel J. Namoco served as the sole teacher on staff and was also in charge of Baculod Primary School.

Due to the rising enrollment, the school's Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) passed a resolution requesting the addition of Grades 3 and 4 classes for the 2004-2005 academic year with the assistance of Barangay LGU. The class had Mrs. Fe F. Alibangbang as its advisor.

During the same academic year, 2004-2005, the kindergarten program was offered. As a result of the school's efforts to transform into a fully functional elementary school, a joint resolution was made by the PTA, Student Government Council (SGC), and Barangay Council for the addition of Grades 5 and 6 classes.

From 2004 to 2023, Baculod Elementary School has had several school heads who have played a significant role in shaping the school's academic standing. Some of these school heads were instrumental in facilitating the school's transition to modern teaching methodologies, while others focused on improving academic performance.

Each school head brought their unique vision and leadership style to the institution, serving as the cornerstone for their respective tenures. Some prioritized improving teacher-student relationships, while others focused on improving infrastructure and resources to support students and staff effectively.

Despite the variances in approach, each school head contributed positively to the school's growth and development over the years, helping to create a vibrant and productive learning environment that enabled students to thrive.
