The Statistical tools used were Mean and Standard Deviation, Paired Samples T-Test and Eta Squared in analysing the data gathered. Results of the study revealed that there was a significant difference in the scores of the respondents before and after the implementation of RSG Technique with a large effect. The researcher recommended that RSG Technique should also be used by other English Teachers to develop the SVA Skill not only of Grade VI Pupils but by lower grades. It further recommended that a parallel study be conducted across learning areas using the RSG Technique.
