Shake it Out. Don't Freak Out. Drop, Cover and Hold. As part of the Disaster Risk Reduction Management System,Lannig Elementary School enthusiastically enjoined in the conduct of the 2021 Quarterly NSED on March 11,2021 at 2:00 in the afternoon. Due to the present situation where Covid-19 still arises, proper health protocol was still observed during the drill.

Prevention is better than cure. Lannig ES joined the ceremonial pressing button marking the start of the 2nd quarter earthquake drill at their respective house since face to face classes was not possible. At exactly 9 :00 in the morning, the siren sound was heard and lasted for one minute as a signal that there is an earthquake being happen. Ms. Mary Grace Castro, SDRRM Coordinator lead the said activity. Everybody participated in the DUCK, COVER and HOLD in their respective houses. No evacuation drill was done since Covid-19 was still around to ensure proper health protocols.
