Reflection:
I have not used professional software to edit photos or design logos before. I am getting used to using the temple on Canva. And, I often use crop/flip, filters, and blemishing the imperfection through simple apps on a smartphone instead. GIMP is a great tool and importantly it is free!
I think GIMP or any other editing software takes me a while to study how to use it. I know GIMP can use more than resize, flip, crop, healing tool, or design a simple logo, so I might want to try its other functions. In the future, I might want to try to create 3D Text Effect and graphic design by GIMP. With editing photos, I think I still can do it on my phone if I need GIMP I will need to learn how to do it on GIMP in advance. I find it easier to learn editing/designing through videos on Youtube than read the directions. There are also many videos on youtube (logo by Nick is my favorite youtube channel so far).
The distributed interface in GIMP is not that fancy and easy to use for beginners to Graphic Design or Editing (me).
I might want to know what's the difference between GIMP and Adobe Illustration...
