If you complete a DePaul course with a GLE component you satisfy one of the requirements for the Global Certificates offered at DePaul University. More information about those certificates are below.
Global Fluency Certificate (GFC) for Undergraduate Students
DePaul offers a Global Fluency Certificate to undergraduate students who demonstrate activities of global citizenship. By completing a course with a GLE component, you will fulfill one of the requirements of DePaul’s Global Fluency Certificate. GFC offers students a cohesive, curated way to grow as global citizens and the opportunity to clearly demonstrate their achievements in global learning to prospective employers. Global Competency Certificate (GCC) for Graduate Students
The Global Competency Certificate validates the global skills and competencies developed during students’ graduate studies at DePaul and is available to all graduate students who meet the requirements prior to the completion of their degree. To earn the certificate, students choose activities and learning experiences (on a point-based system) from various categories, including successfully completing a course with a GLE component.
