Already possessing and utilizing an on-site greenhouse for school lessons and a Greenhouse Club, the Farm-to-School team, along with several elementary students, helped to clear debris and level a new garden area. After debris removal, six new raised beds were added in May 2019, giving GMES new possibilities for teacher and student interactions with garden learning.

2022 Garden Update: This summer, the GMES Summer Garden Club created the school's new pollinator garden to be used as an educational resource for students and teachers. The Summer Garden Club was so successful that we decided to extend it into the fall and open it up to more students. Over the winter, the students will learn about hydroponic greenhouse growing.
