Now that you have determined your audience, and a style that will appeal to them write a script. Consider using a graphic organizer like to the one to the right. This is a basic outline that provides a way to get out the basics. Depending on the project you may want to have students include ore details in a different format.

Step 2 - Storyboard
A storyboard is a basic outline of the film to be shot that can include:
- Pictures (these can be stick figures)
- some details on what is happening
- the type of shot
- dialogue
- props
- sounds (music or sound effects)
There are a variety of ways to storyboard, but one of the simplest is using post-it notes, on an 11x17 sheet of paper. This allows everyone to contribute, and the flexibility to move scenes if they need to reorganize.
