It would be difficult for students to produce a piece of film, without first having some knowledge as to how to create a good piece of film that tells a story well. This section provides resources and ideas that can help you build this important background knowledge with your students.

To help everyone stay on track, consider using a task, or production chart like the one to the right.

For beginners keep the film to 30 seconds or less. It may surprise you at the amount of time and work goes into producing something that seems so short.
