2024 District Competition

District competition will be held again here in Delphos at the St. John's All Saints gym. Doors open at 1:00pm with registration at 1:30pm.

(Thank you to all the local KofC Knights that volunteered to help with this exciting event.) The competition is open to all local contestant winners from District 62 of the Toledo Diocese, including Delphos, Paulding, Payne, Van Wert, and Lima Councils.

The Delphos Knights of Columbus annual Free Throw Championship was held again this year on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday January 15, 2024. Registration began at 1:30 with the competition starting at 2pm. This competition was open to any boy or girl ages 9 to 14 as of Jan. 1, 2024 who lives in Delphos or the surrounding communities.

Since 1972, Knights of Columbus councils have sponsored the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship for boys and girls from the ages of 9 to 14 to provide an athletic outlet and encourage the values of sportsmanship and healthy competition. Kids compete within their own gender and age and progress from local level to district, regional and the state competition.

2023 District Winners

Competition was held Sunday, February 5, 2023 here in Delphos at St. John's All Saints gym. (Thank you to all the local KofC Knights that volunteered to help run this exciting event.) The competition was open to all local contestant winners from District 62 of the Toledo Diocese, including Delphos, Paulding, Payne, Van Wert, and Lima Councils.  Below are the winners who will move on to the regional competition. The regionals will be held in Ottoville on Sunday February 26 in the Parish Center Gym.
