Tassel and Hoods - We are aware that there are seniors who picked up their cap and gown today without the tassel and hood (white hood with CHS crest on it) included. The tassel and hood for each student will be delivered as soon as they arrive. We are hoping they arrive by Thursday's graduation rehearsal, which is mandatory.

Graduation Tickets - The county has not delivered the graduation tickets to us yet. Once they arrive we will begin disbursing them. If students have not picked up their graduation tickets by graduation rehearsal, Thursday, May 19, we will disburse the tickets graduation rehearsal.

1. We have not yet set the schedule for when seniors will pick up their caps and gowns. We will be setting it up first pickups on Thursday, May 12 on a schedule based on the seniors' last names. Then we will have a period during and at the end of the day, probably running a little bit after school that will be for anyone who missed their time for whatever reason. This is when we were planning on the dual enrollment students, Flex Academy, Virtual, AP testing students, or students who are just not able to make it during their assigned time slot. Some students will need more time to "get cleared" and those students will have times to pick up cap and gowns the following week.

Week of Graduation Pick up - Call Herff Jones and arrange for pick up and fitting adjustments at the Herff Jones location.
Graduation Day -- Herff Jones will be at graduation - Hallford Stadium - for minor, last minute cap & gown adjustments, time permitting.

Herff Jones has optional senior packages. If all you want is cap & gown, then that is all you need to buy there.

Cap and Gown order due by Jan. 21, 2022

After February 1, 2022 - LATE PENALTY +$10*

After March 1, 2022 - DOUBLE LATE PENALTY +$20*

*Due to global supply chain issues, cap and gowns are being ordered earlier than normal times. Please call Herff Jones and put in a deposit (partial payment) and you will not be subject to the late fee penalties.

If you Paid Class Dues of $200?

Then CHS will pay on your behalf.

CHS will pay Herff Jones your $70 from your senior dues. You will NOT Order your Cap & Gown directly from Herff Jones. You can look at their optional packages and apply your $70 to the cost of the packages if you want the optional senior packages. You would then pay Herff Jones the difference.

If you are a Senior who paid $200 for senior dues, then CHS has added you to a list.

CHS will pay $70 of your senior dues to Herff Jones for your Cap & Gown.
You need to put your height and weight here [LINK] so that Herff Jones knows what size Cap & Gown to get you.
If you go to Herff Jones website [LINK] and want to buy a graduation package, and you are on this list, you need to call Herff Jones and tell them you want to have your $70 applied to a package.

You should already let Ms. Miller know if you paid $200 and are not on the $200 list. This list is kept on the Google Classroom for privacy reasons. If you can't get to Google Classroom, during your ALT time, walk to Ms. Miller's room #4138 and speak to her, or email Ms. Miller.
