Work Experience Credit
Juniors and seniors who are currently working at a job, or worked during the summer may earn an additional .5 elective credit for every 65 hours worked . A student may earn a total of 2.0 Work Experience elective Credits with 260 hours during their high school years. This program supports high school completion and encourages entry into the workplace.

Guidelines
0.5 credit per minimum 65 hours of documented work
Any paid work position where academic and career-related skills are learned
Work Experience credit is earned as pass/fail; a letter grade is not offered
Submit a one-page reflection essay about the your job experience
Students must submit a Work Experience Credit Application to the Career Center.
Upon approval, students may begin logging hours. See the packet below for additional information.
