VEXcode VR is an easy to use platform that allows you to code a virtual robot using either Block-based coding environment powered by Scratch Blocks.
his robot is probably one of the easiest to build this year.
And, it can score over 70 points in a match.
Here’s how I built it (5 steps):
Refer to right bulid instructions
Add a roller to the front to pick up blocks from the ground:
The blocks kept getting stuck in the gaps, so I made the bottom flat with this simple piece:
At this point, I could carry cubes, but not score them in the goal. I moved some of the pins attaching the tray to the arm:
Finally, my robot worked, but it kept falling on its face. So I added “wheelie bars” (similar to those on racecars):
I know this seems like a lot, but it is less than it looks (especially once you have finished step 1)
