Quad 4 Virtual Learning

Learning will be continuing in Cooperative Education during the school closures. Students will be invited to our classroom before we begin on Tuesday April 20th.

Each week, we will be providing materials each morning for students to complete throughout that week. We recognize and understand that all of you are in unique circumstances right now just as we are as teachers, and as such we feel that the most equitable approach is to allow students to complete course work at the times most convenient for you and your families.

We are of course always available to students using Remind or through email to provide help and support. Simply click the name of your monitoring teacher to contact through email at any time.

TASK 1: Wellness Bingo

Self Care and Wellness: Taking Care of Yourself So You Can Be Your Best

Self care is a vital part of maintaining good health and a vibrant life. It’s a way of living that incorporates behaviors that help you to be refreshed, replenish your personal motivation, and grow as a person.

Wellness is an interactive process of becoming aware of and practicing healthy choices to create a more successful and balanced lifestyle. Wellness is:

  • A direction in which by its nature, moves us toward a more proactive, responsible and healthier existence.

  • The integration of the body, mind, and spirit.

  • The loving acceptance of ourselves today and the exciting free search for who we choose to become tomorrow.

  • Choice living; a compilation of the daily decisions we make that lead us to that person we choose to become.

In the workplace studies show that employees are more likely to be on the job and performing well when they are in optimal health. Benefits of implementing a wellness program include: Improved disease management and prevention, and a healthier workforce in general, both of which contribute to lower health care costs.
