Collin Peters serves as the Percussion Director for the Blue Steel Drumline. Collin was born and raised in Marietta, GA where he graduated from Marietta High School in 2015. Following High School, Collin attended Hampton University, where he pursued a degree in Political Science and also served as the S.T.I.C.K.Y Situation Drumline Captain for the 2018-2019 season. After his time at Hampton, he attended Kennesaw State University to work towards his Masters Degree in Information Technology and he currently works as a Cyber Security Consultant in the Atlanta area. Some of his notable performances include performing for ESPN’s SportsCenter, The Honda Battle of the Bands, The Rose Bowl Parade as a member of the HBCU All-Star Drumline, and being featured on Beyonce’s Homecoming documentary. During his time with DCHS, the percussion section has consistently placed in both show style and corps style competitions.
