Concert Bands

The Douglas County Band program has three Large Ensemble Offerings. Each group consists of woodwind, brass, and percussion players who perform pieces of various instrumentation and styles. They are dedicated to performing the finest original wind literature from the Renaissance to the present. All groups are set by audition in late fall and participate in Large Group Performance Evaluation in the Spring as well as Spring concerts. Each group is ability based and promotes growth across groups by playing music that is appropriate to the players skill levels.
