I believe that open communication between parents and teachers is key to a child’s growth and success! Advocating for your child and helping them learn to advocate for themselves is a powerful step toward building confidence and independence. If you ever have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I'm only an email away! Also, please keep in mind that my inbox is always active, so I kindly ask for up to 48 hours to respond. I do not respond on weekends, holidays, or outside of my contracted working hours. Thank you for your understanding!
I'm so excited to welcome you to 5th grade! Please read this letter to learn about my hopes & dreams for your child this year.
In this packet you will find important information on classroom expectations, our class economy, homework, grading, celebration of learning, classroom schedule, and permission forms.
In our classroom, students get a fun taste of the real world through our Classroom Economy! Each student earns "money" by doing classroom jobs and must also pay "rent". On Fridays, they can choose to spend their earnings at the Dojo Store, or save up for our exciting End-of-Year Auction where big prizes are up for grabs!
If you’d like to donate any new or gently used items we’ll happily accept them. Below are some ideas, I will also attach the Amazon wishlist: here. Thanks for your support!

Here are some items we’d love:
Books collecting dust on shelves that your kids have outgrown
Magazines (school-appropriate, please!) for collages, reading, and scavenger hunts
Gently used trinkets
Games, puzzles, or supplies (journals, coloring books, folders) your family no longer uses
Small party favors or unused birthday goodies
