I was born in San Mateo, California, but my family and I have been happy to call Colorado our home for the last eighteen years. I was a student in the Douglas County School District and graduated from Mountain Vista High School. I attended the University of Northern Colorado where I earned a B.A. in Theatre Education and a minor in Dance. I am super excited for my fourth year of teaching at Sierra and to continue my time in DCSD, now as a teacher!

I was raised with a strong love and appreciation of the performing arts, starting at a very young age. I first started in dance classes at the age of three, and not soon after I started performing in shows. Ever since, I’ve loved to share my passion for theatre and dance with others; whether that was putting on shows in my basement with my cousins to now working professionally, as a director and choreographer. 

When I am not doing theatre, I am usually spending time with my family and friends or teaching Barre/Pilates fitness classes. I also love to travel, hike, bake, play with my two dogs, go to CU Football games, attend live theatre performances and concerts, or just stay at home and read.

My middle school experience was very significant to the person I am today.  I am committed to giving that same positive experience to others. Middle school is the place where I found my passion for theatre and through it I was able to gain confidence during a challenging time. Theatre is a home for so many people, so I can’t wait to create that space for the students of Sierra.
