One Book One District

This year's One Book One District selection is Every Seed has a Story by Megan Clendenan & Brittany Cicchese.

Every Seed has a Story

Deep beneath the Arctic landscape lies one of the world's most important collections: the Svalbard Global Seed Vault. This beautifully illustrated nonfiction picture book introduces readers to the remarkable effort to preserve seeds from around the world, protecting biodiversity and ensuring future generations have access to the plants that sustain life.

Through engaging storytelling and stunning artwork, readers discover how scientists, farmers, and communities work together to safeguard our shared future.
