Important Info

Everyone who is allowed to drop off and pick up will have their own pin. They must have their pin to drop off or pick up. If they don't have their pin we can look it up but they will have to have an ID. Please make sure you have everyone listed in your account that can drop off or pick up. We will not release kids to anyone who is not in your account! To access this click the personal tab, the pin is listed under their name.

Before school - every is dropped off at the Intermediate school - Primary kids ride the bus to the primary school. Our staff rides the bus with them

After School:

RXI - Come into the cafeteria then will have homework time then either go outside or into the gym

RXP - Staff pick them up from the Primary School and bring them back to the Intermediate building. They have homework

Our program is based out of the cafeteria at the Intermediate school, this door has the letter "J" on the outside!

If we are in a different location there will be a sign on the door that says where we are. If you are unfamiliar with the school please feel free to reach out on our program phone at 303-241-7966

Dear BASE (Before and After School Enterprise) Families,

Thank you for choosing our BASE Program, it is always our privilege to serve your family. Our mission is to promote the safety, well-being, and development of every child while partnering with school and community to be the best choice for families. Our programs are primarily self-funded and our main source of revenues comes from tuition payments. All program expenses, including salaries, benefits, equipment and supplies, utilities, transportation, nurse support, and field trip costs are part of the program's operating budget.

As a result of increases in several operating costs, employee compensation and benefits, state licensing, supplies and materials, excursions, transportation, and direct central office support, we are adjusting our rate accordingly:

2024-2025 Activity/field trip fees, effective July 1, 2024

Activity and/or field trip fee will be charged per child based on cost of activity.

2024-2025 Tuition rates, effective July 1, 2024:

Before School Program: $15
After School Program: $15
Full Day program: $35+activity fee

These rates align and are comparable with our neighboring BASE programs, and very competitive with private child care providers in the area.

Please know we are also working together to assess our goals and needs for next year and maximize resources effectively while minimizing the impact to children.

Scheduling Information

All schedules need to be submitted on SchoolCare Works by midnight of the Wednesday of the week prior to prevent drop-in charges

Late schedule fees are automatically charged if you submit your calendar after the deadline (Wednesday at midnight)

Payment is required when you submit your calendar

Late sign-ups are dependent on whether or not we have room for the students based on numbers and staff

Credits can only be issued if changes are submitted prior to the deadline, please email Vanessa with schedule changes

All scheduled activities are listed on SchoolCare Works and the calendar page of this website

We offer care for children 5 and up, or children who are 4 and enrolled in kindergarten for the school year may access the program beginning the first day of school. For summer they can start after they have attended Kindergarten.

There are itineraries on both sites that have all of the pertinent information as well
If a field trip is scheduled, all students that are signed up for that specific day attend the field trip. We don't have any students or staff stay on site on field trip days.
The registration fee is paid when the enrollment forms are filled out

Important Pick Up Information:

You will need to enter and exit from the cafeteria door at RXI, unless a sign is posted.

If you plan on having an authorized pick up, they must present their I.D. to a staff member or they may be denied pick up access.

If the Roxstars are in the another area of the school a colored sign will be posted directing parents where to meet their child.

Purple Sign: Roxstars Room (doors are located south of the gym and north of the playground in the fenced in area) Door N

Student Safety/Security

Your student's safety is of the utmost importance to us as a program! As a result, please keep the following things in mind when picking your student up from the program!

If a staff member does not recognize you or an authorized pick-up, they are required to ask for your ID to verify you are authorized to pick-up a specific student. This is most likely to occur if we have a new staff member! Please ALWAYS be prepared to show your ID when picking up a student.
Only authorized pick-ups are allowed to sign students in and out of the program.
Authorized pick-ups MUST be at least 18 years of age.
Each guardian and authorized pick-up has their own personalized PIN, please do not share your PIN with other authorized pick-ups or guardians. Each PIN is listed under the personal tab on your SCW account.
