Roxstars field trip shirt - must have for field trips!
You have so many choices when it comes to childcare, so what makes Roxstars unique? In order to first understand what makes Roxstars unique, you first have to understand what makes Roxborough unique. As you know if you have lived here for awhile, or you will quickly find out if you are new, Roxborough is a community in the true sense of the word. There are few places that create the small town feel in the middle of the suburbs like Roxborough. As a school and program, we know and understand the importance of this communal feel and it is not only important that we respect that community first notion, but actively engage in it as well.
The afternoon sessions allow students time and space to be with their peers playing games, completing homework, and playing in the gym. We have found that students most enjoy the gym during these afternoon sessions.
We only have school aged children that attend Roxborough Primary and Intermediate. There are a few students that go to Roxstars that attend other schools, but for the most part our program is comprised of Roxborough students. This encourages friendships to be developed with students within the same school, but perhaps in a different class or grade. As a result we design activities and field trips specifically for school aged children.
