Each athlete's favorite memory:
Bruno Albertoni - the belly flop competition after swim practice.
Diego Amat-Cooley - the team dinner at Dion's after the Cherokee Trail meet.
Beckham Arnold - the kidnappings!
Brandon Cho - State 2024.
Mason Ferre - when one of the captains made a Freudian slip.
Ty Gebhard - making State for the first time.
Bryce Greczek - the team kidnapping.
Spencer Hola - kidnapping Brayden Dunn!
Sota Kawahata - the White Elephant party last year.
Sawyer Krol - the people I met and became friends with.
Oscar Mackey - the first time I witnessed the team cheer, the cheer itself, and the duck and trident are just phenomenal!
Braydon Ohrtman - Creek Invite freshman year.
Daniel Sim - all the State after parties.
Ivan Williams - the freshman kidnapping.
Nathan Wong - the banquet.
Each athlete gave advice for the team:
Bruno Albertoni - it will always be scary until you try it. Most times, all you need is a leap of faith.
Beckham Arnold - you don't HAVE to go to practice, you GET to go to practice!
Brandon Cho - enjoy every minute because it goes by fast.
Mason Ferre - keep going when things get difficult.
Ty Gebhard - be present and be in the moment.
Bryce Greczek - keep an open mind to positive feedback and don't get discouraged. You don't need to swim your State cut every race and each swim is an opportunity to improve and grow.
Spencer Hola - take advantage of all opportunities, work hard, and don't be afraid to hear the truth.
Sota Kawahata - have lots of fun and drink lots of water!
Sawyer Krol - no matter what people make of you or do to you or sawy about you, you should always be yourself and they will come around some day.
Oscar Mackey - do something that scares you. After that, everything else becomes easier. It's like an overall confidence booster.
Braydon Ohrtman - make sure to work hard every week of the season. It sucks to realize you want something halfway through and not have enough time to work hard enough to get it.
Daniel Sim - study hard, party harder.
Ivan Williams - better late than never.
Nathan Wong - to have fun.
