Kathy Andrie

I am so excited and honored to be in my 7th season with the team as the Dive Coach! I currently serve as the dive coach for Littleton High School (boys and girls), Heritage High School (boys), Parker Co-op (boys), and the girls' teams in Highlands Ranch. I am also coaching the dive team at Colorado School of Mines.

My passion for the sport of diving started in childhood with the stories that my father told me about his swimming and diving endeavors.  He set me up with a trampoline in the backyard and I bounced my way onto our high school diving team.

I will skip ahead to my recent return to college where I studied education at Metro State.  I used my spare time between classes to visit the pool.  I joined Metro State’s Club Swimming and Diving Team and built 11 dive lists on the one- and three-meter boards.  Our team travelled to Atlanta for Nationals where I had the opportunity to compete on the same boards that our Olympians used in 1996.

As a coach, I have had the privilege of working with swimmers and divers of all ages.  I have coached recreational swimming and diving teams for 11 summers, and I have coached high school diving for over 20 years.  Some of my other interests include rock climbing and bouldering, triathlon, trail running, and hanging out with my 4 amazing kids.
