Christina Kwon

Coach Christina Kwon returns for her 14th season at the helm of the Ranch Boys Swim & Dive Team. She has over 25 years of coaching experience and over 10 years of competitive swim experience. Her goal is to help each athlete become the best version of themselves (academically, in the pool, and in life!), while developing a lifelong love of the sport. Christina has coached swimmers of all abilities from developmental to Junior National qualifiers/HS State champions, and many of her swimmers have gone on to compete at all levels of collegiate athletics. She is currently in her fourth season as an Age Group Coach at SlipStream Aquatics. In 2025, Christina received a Master's in Applied Sport Psychology at Adams State University, and completed her practicum with multiple area high school and club teams in a variety of sports (football, swimming, volleyball, and softball). She is currently the in-house Mental Performance Coach at SlipStream Aquatics, and owns her own mental performance coaching company (The Performance Mind).

Under her leadership, the Ranch team has accomplished the following:

• 5A State Meet: 3rd Place (2024, 2025), 5th Place (2014, 2017, 2018), 6th Place (2015, 2016), 7th Place (2013), 8th Place (2021 , 2023), 9th Place (2019), 12th Place (2022)

• Continental League Champions: 2014,-2019, 2022-2025, Continental League Runner Up: 2013, 2021

The team has also had All American Consideration and All American Automatic qualifying performances, All American Academic team members, Individual State Champions, All State and All Continental League team members, and has finished as a CHSAA All Academic Team. 

Originally from Virginia and a proud University of Chicago alumna (A.B. History), Christina moved to Colorado in 2011.  When not on the pool deck, Christina loves to read, seek out new boba tea places, test out new recipes, and is a busy mom to two little boys. Christina lives in Parker with her husband Tim, and sons Theodore and Gabriel.
