General Winter Guard Information
Our Winter Guard Club starts in November or December and we increase our rehearsal schedule for our competitive season.

2 days of rehearsal per week + Saturdays

Some Saturday Competitions ending in State Championships
We will take our basic skills learned and use them to create an entertaining show that will compete at performances sponsored by the
Winter Guard Club requires a big commitment and regular attendance for all rehearsals and competitions on some Saturdays. These shows are designed for each and every member's performance, so their committed attendance at shows is essential to the success of the entire program. Please review your schedule from January through early April to make sure you can be dedicated to our team. We will work hard for the chance to perform at a State Competition to close our season.
2022 RMCGA State Champions!
We are pleased to announce that our winter guard won 1st Place in RMCGA's Novice Class and are State Champions. They performed their show Dance Monkey and received a score of 91.57. Ponderosa has not had a winter guard since 2017, and we are incredibly proud of these eight Mustangs for being brave enough to learn this activity and for putting our school back on the map!
