3. Once the student has grasped the concept and tools on how to do this style of work you may use your own photography and begin the process on your own.
4. Print and presentation to class using a google slide show.
Learning Objectives:
a. To understand and perform new and interesting photographic techniques.
b. Learn about the history of Photography
c. Advance your photoshop skills
d. Become more comfortable with your presentation skills
I want you to plan on doing this entire project in class. If you need a new interesting photograph you may need to use your personal time to go and take a new interesting photograph.
Research: Look up photos that you think are well done on the internet and then go out and try to emulate a photograph. As an artist I am always researching ideas and trying to improve. Artists feed off each other. We learn from each other and then try and emulate each other. Especially being a young artist / photographer you need inspiration. RESEARCH
Do not: Steal a photos from online. Plagiarism has a steep penalty in my class. It is really easy for me to detect where photos come from. I only had to give two referrals out last semester for students not thinking clearly. We don't need to ruin any college admission chances with that on their record. Make an honest effort and you will pass my class. Also, Do not use previous photos from your past. You must take these photos from the week the assignment was assigned. If I see you jumping off a boat with palm trees behind you I will obviously know you did not take the photo and you were not in Maui this week.
