I hope everyone had a refreshing summer! I'm excited to get this year started and see all of our amazing students back in the building!
Here's what's happening in August:
As students get back into the swing of school routines, I will be visiting classrooms and walking the halls saying hi to both new and old faces, welcoming everyone back!
Something new this year is that I will be teaching K-6th students during our Thursday/Friday Essentials Classes rotations in a class we are calling PAC skills (positive ambassador skills). During our lessons this month, I will be going over some quick reminders with students including my role in our school, how they can reach out to me, and how to report bullying to the adults in our building.
As we get the year started, another important part of my job is partnering with teachers and staff in our building to determine the needs of our students and how they can be addressed through classroom lessons, small groups, or in some instances, one-on-one skill building. If you have any questions or concerns about your student's skills or needs, please feel free to reach out at anytime!
