BASE Area Manager
Michele Stewart
The Little Pups program at Coyote Creek started 12 years ago and I can't believe how the program has grown since then! I am very excited to be part of the Copper Mesa family and look forward to getting to know the community. As an Area Manager for the Douglas County School District, I oversee the Full Day Pre-Kindergarten programs and several of the School-age BASE programs, including here at Copper Mesa. I grew up in Portland, Oregon but moved to Colorado to attend college at the University of Denver. I have my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, my Large Center Director's License, and my Colorado coaching credential. Outside of work, I spend my free time teaching fitness classes and training for runs. I have a daughter heading off to her first year of college and a two-year-old puppy, both of which keep me very busy. I'm proud of all of the great things that are happening in the Little Pups program and look forward to getting to know all of the new families.

Yvonne Pugh
My name is Yvonne Pugh and I am the program manager of the Little Pups. I'm a Colorado Native! I attended Metropolitan State University where I received my bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science and minored in Early Childhood Education. I've worked with children from ages 6 weeks old to 13 years old and found preschool/ pre-kindergarten is what I love best. I love football! You will always see me cheering for my favorite team the Denver Broncos. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to broncos games, camping and traveling when I can. I look forward to meeting all of you and having a great year!

Sharon Newcomer
This is my fifth year teaching in Little Pups and I love being a part of such an amazing team! I am a mother of 4 wonderful children and Grandma to 7 precious grandchildren. I have been teaching for over 20 years and Pre K is my favorite age to teach. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Child Studies from Colorado State University. I have lived in Colorado most of my life and love all the state has to offer. I enjoy hiking, skiing and love to travel.

Kelley Guerin
My name is Kelley Guerin and this is my second year teaching in Little Pups and I'm beyond excited! I am a Colorado native but grew up in Buffalo N.Y. I did receive my teaching certification at ACC, and have been teaching preschool for the past 12 years. I have one daughter Erin and was married to my husband in May of "23. I enjoy attending country concerts, watching Buffalo Bills football, and spending time with my friends and family. I am excited for the new school year ahead!

Tammy McLaughlin
My name is Tammy McLaughlin and this is my sixth year at Little Pups and I love our amazing team!. I am a Colorado native who graduated from The University of Colorado with a bachelors degree in Psychology. My husband Chris and I have 2 wonderful kids Nick and Lauren. I love traveling, baking, and spending time with my family and my dog Josie. I’m looking forward to getting to know all of the amazing kids and their families at our new home at Copper Mesa!

My name is Mitra Hosseinipour. I was born in Tehran, the capital of Iran. I got my Bachelors degree in Iran and I evaluated in USA. I have worked many years with kids both in Iran and USA. I have two children, my daughter is a Bio medical engineer and my son is a certified cyber security engineer . I love children and I enjoy working with them. In my free time, I love Art, traveling, dancing , nature walks, cooking ,baking and spending time with my family.

Hi There!
My name is Steffany Bacho. I have taught in the Douglas County School District for seven years and have been a teacher for seventeen years. I’m thrilled to be part of the Little Pups Preschool as well as this AMAZING team! I look forward to spending time with your child and the opportunity of meeting your family! I graduated with a BS Degree in Psychology along with minors in Early Childhood and Sociology from Western New Mexico University. I’ve enjoyed teaching and coaching all ages throughout the years. However, most of my experience is in Early Childhood Education where we continue ongoing training each school year. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, walking/running, reading, cooking, getting together with friends and volunteering when I’m able to. My husband and I also love doing DIY projects around our house. Nothing says, “I love you” more than paint and a paint brush (totally kidding). We’ve lived in Colorado for 12 years and unfortunately don’t have dogs anymore, but if you’re ever wondering where to find me, look for any dogs nearby lol They’re my favorite!! I feel so blessed to have the privilege of getting to meet new families each year and have a place in each child’s education.
