Drop-off and Pick-up

Please allow yourself enough time to drop off your child each morning, and make sure your child has already eaten breakfast or bring a packed breakfast for them to eat at school. Remind your child to wash their hands when they arrive at school.  An adult over the age of 18 (with an valid I.D.) must sign a child in/out on the iPad each day.

Each parent and authorized adult contact will have a unique PIN for the SchoolCareWorks iPad software to check your child in/out. If someone other than a parent is dropping off or picking up your child, they must be added as an authorized adult on your SchoolCareWorks account and must show their ID to the teachers. Please notify your child's classroom teacher is someone else is planning to pick up your child. 

We close at 5:30pm sharp. If you need to have any conversations with teachers, please arrive at least 10 minutes before we close to allow time for conversations and to pack up your child's belongings. Families will be charged $3 per minute for every minute past 5:30pm. 

Communication

In order to be successful with teaching your child, please communicate any necessary events with us  (family changes, behavior, life transitions, sickness, dietary changes, etc.) It is our priority to keep your child safe and happy!

Conferences - We have formal parent-teacher conferences twice a year, in the fall and spring. We will email when the time gets closer with information on specific dates and times.

Recess

We have recess every morning and afternoon for 30 minutes on our playground. Please make sure your child wears appropriate shoes everyday so they can run and play safely. Please apply sunscreen to your child in the morning before coming to school. We always reapply our program's sunscreen for afternoon recess. 

Meals and Snacks

During the school year, lunch from the cafeteria is included in your child's daily tuition. Lunches include an entree, fruit, vegetable, and milk. Please pack your child 3-4 health nut free snacks each day. We have morning and 2 afternoon designated snack times. 

The monthly Lunch Menu will be posted on the classroom website during the school year.
