HRHS Career & Technical Education

Announcements:

What is CTE?

Career & Technical Education (CTE) courses focus on academic content along with preparing students for post-secondary opportunities, including work force readiness. Our CTE programs provide hands on learning, exposure to current industry standards and knowledge, and connections with industry professionals. Some certification opportunities are available depending on the pathway.

Colorado CTE programs are divided into six industry sectors. From there the content is broken into Career Clusters and then broken into pathways and sub categories. Below, you will find the Career Cluster Pathways offered at HRHS. Click on the links below to learn which courses we offer. You will also find course descriptions, certification opportunities, and additional information from the instructors.

Each program has an associated CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization). Students are expected to be a part of the CTSO as this experience will further enhance their knowledge and skills.

General CTE questions? Please contact HRHS CTE Director, Keri Stuebinger at klstuebinger@dcsdk12.org or HRHS CTE Counselor, Amy Larsen at amy.larsen@dcsdk12.org.  If you have specific questions about individual programs, please contact the teacher(s) directly.
