WELCOME TO FIRST GRADE

Welcome to Fox Creek Elementary School and First Grade! First grade is an exciting year of growth and development for your child. During our school day, we focus on CREW, building relationships, Habits of Character, and creating a sense of community and belonging. First grade is also a big year of developing foundational literacy and mathematics skills as well building confidence and independence in all academic areas. 

We believe that every child is unique and has their own strengths. We work to build strong relationships with your child in order to know how they learn best. This allows us to meet the individual needs of every child (academically and socially) in our classrooms.

We are looking forward to our school year together and believe that a strong home and school connection plays an important role in your child’s development in first grade. We are looking forward to partnering with you as we support your child’s growth this year.
