Ms. Bingaman in 1st Grade and 16th Grade!
Welcome to First Grade!!! I am so excited to be your first grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. I can't wait to meet everyone and get this year started!
This is my 1st year teaching and I am beyond excited to be starting my career at Eldorado. I graduated from the University of Colorado - Boulder this past May with a degree in Elementary Education and endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. I am looking forward to working with Eldorado’s first grade team and meeting all of you!
Over the last 6 years, from day camp counseling to student teaching, I’ve worked with kids ages 5–15. At Ryan Elementary in Lafayette, I completed my student-practicum in Kindergarten, student-taught 2nd grade, and served as a substitute teacher in classrooms and as a Special Education paraeducator in our Intensive Learning Classroom. I believe great teaching starts with strong relationships and a safe, supportive classroom community. I strive to create environments where students feel valued and encouraged to take risks to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I'm passionate about teaching and learning and can’t wait to share that passion with our 1st graders and their families.
I’m originally from Michigan and I’m super close with my family so moving out here was a big change. I had always planned to stay in the Midwest but I fell in love with Boulder when my brother started school at CU. Over the past four years I have absolutely fallen in love with Colorado and can’t imagine leaving any time soon. In my free time I love to cook, I enjoy photography, I play guitar and piano, and most of all I spend time with my brother and friends. I am excited to be living in a new part of Colorado and having so many new restaurants to try and places to explore.
