Welcome to First Grade! I am so excited to meet you soon!  My name is Mrs. Clavadetscher, (it’s a long last name...13 letters to be exact), but you can call me Mrs. C.   This will be my fourth year as a first grade teacher at Eldorado.  Prior to teaching, I was a school psychologist in Douglas County and I have worked with lots of students in many different grade levels at different schools. In 2022, I decided I wanted to go back to my roots in elementary education and teach in first grade.   I am so fortunate to have landed a teaching job at Eldorado.  I love working at Eldorado and I love our First Grade team.  I’m so excited to spend my fourth year of teaching with you and your amazing children!

I am married to a wonderful guy named Eric and we are going on our 20th year of marriage this year.  I have two sons, Anders (10) and Oliver (8) who attend Eldorado school, too.  Anders will be in Fifth grade this year and Oliver will be in Third Grade.  Anders is staying very busy with football and he loves his rubix cubes and playing outside.  Oliver loves sports and he will be playing  hockey for his fourth year this fall.  As a family, we enjoy spending time together, going on hikes and walks and playing together.  The boys love to get me to double-bounce them on our trampoline whenever they get the chance. :-)

Our puppy, Calle-Rose, is a very energetic dog. She loves to go on walks, so you may see me walking her around the Eldorado area! When I have quiet time, I like to read, do yoga, take walks and/or watch a favorite movie or show.  I can’t wait to meet you and hear about all of your summer adventures and the fun things that make you, YOU!
