Welcome to First Grade! I am so excited to meet you soon!  My name is Mrs. Clavadetscher, (it’s a long last name!), but you can call me Mrs. C.   This will be my second year as a first grade teacher at Eldorado and I am so excited!  I am not new to the field of education, though.  Prior to teaching, I was a school psychologist in Douglas County and I have worked with lots of students in many different grade levels at different schools. Last year,  I decided I wanted to go back to my roots in elementary education and teach in first grade.   I am so fortunate to have landed a teaching job at Eldorado and I’m so excited to spend my second year of First Grade with you!

I am married to a wonderful guy named Eric and I have two sons, Anders (8) and Oliver (6) and our puppy, Calle (6 months)  Anders will be in third grade this year and Oliver will be in First Grade.  Anders stays busy with swimming  and he loves playing outside.  Oliver loves sports and he will be playing  hockey for a second year this fall.  We love spending time together, going on hikes and walks, bike rides and playing! When I have quiet time, I like to read, do yoga, take walks and/or watch a favorite movie or show.  I can’t wait to meet you and hear about all of your summer adventures and the fun things that make you, YOU!
