Hi, I’m Allison DeWolf! I’ve been teaching kindergarten and first grade for 31 wonderful years. My journey began in the tiny town of Rocky Ford, Colorado, where I grew up on a cantaloupe farm. Some of my favorite memories come from that close-knit community where neighbors felt like family.
After high school, I attended Colorado State University and began my teaching career in 1993. In 2000, I earned my master’s degree in education with a focus on literacy development. Teaching young children how to learn and grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
I have been married for 30 years and am the proud parent of two amazing children. My son recently moved back to Colorado after living in Pacific Beach for the past three years. He is currently working on his own software startup—when he’s not golfing or surfing. My daughter graduated from the University of Mississippi last spring with a degree in psychology. She cheered all four years in college and helped her team win national D1 titles during her freshman and senior years. She now lives in Nashville and is enjoying this exciting chapter of life.
In my free time, I love going on adventures with my husband, especially cheering on our CSU Rams at football and basketball games. We also enjoy traveling to visit our kids whenever we can. Being both a teacher and a mom has given me a unique perspective that I bring to the classroom every day. I truly love what I do and feel incredibly lucky to be part of the lives of so many wonderful children and families.
Welcome Campers!
