Dennette Gentry
I am excited to be your fifth grade teacher this year! This will be my thirtieth year of teaching and my twenty sixth in Douglas County. Before finding a home at Cougar Run, I taught in Jefferson County for three years and at Eagle Ridge for one year. I am a product of Littleton Schools and graduated from Littleton High School. I have a bachelor’s degree from Colorado Christian University in Education and a Masters of Literacy from Lesley University in Boston.
I am a Colorado native and I have a delightful daughter who attended Cougar Run, and is now a freshman at Colorado Christian University studying English and Musical Theater. In my spare time I enjoy reading and book club, doing outdoor activities like hiking and camping, traveling when I can, going to see professional theater along with watching my daughter perform in choir and musicals, and spending time with my family and friends.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you and beginning our adventure together in learning this year!
