CCE Roadrunners

What: A before school running program. The purpose of this activity is to offer an opportunity for students to increase their physical activity, improve fitness, and practice proper running techniques & pacing. The goal is to increase physical activity and provide a safe, fun and noncompetitive environment for CCE students.

When: Practices are from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday & Thursday, starting Tuesday, September 5 - Thursday, October 12, 2023. Practices will be canceled if it is raining or snowing outside.

Who: All students in grades K-6 are welcome to join. There is a 50 student maximum, so register as soon as possible. 

Where: We will meet on the main field at 8:00 a.m., weather permitting. Practices are outside. Please send your children dressed accordingly with proper running shoes. Wearing layers; fleece tops, hats and gloves, etc. are recommended during the cooler mornings. 

Fees: A $30.00 fee per student to participate in the CCE Roadrunners Running Club. Payment is through My School Bucks. Select CCE Roadrunners Running Club. Please complete before Tuesday September 5, 2023..

• Have students wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

• Please send a water bottle marked with your child’s name.

• There is no practice if it is raining or snowing outside.
