The DCG Varsity Dance is made up of members from the Dallas Center School District in grades 9th -12th. Team members perform at all home football games, a number of home basketball games, the annual youth clinic for younger DCG students, the Iowa High School State Championships and various other community events.

Tryouts are typically held in March and the season runs on an April - March schedule. They team practices twice a week and also attends a Summer Camp in July. The team performs several genres of dance including pom, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and kick. The team not only competes as a team but also has several members that compete individually at the State Solo Championships.

The team does a number of fundraisers each year but their Team Poster and Youth Clinic are far the best known. You can check out their poster in almost any business window in Grimes and Dallas Center. The annual youth clinic is held in April and is for dancers in grades 1st-5th.
