Voices for Change: Art and Environmental Activism

Learn about an artist advocating for change and make art that amplifies your voice! Students will make prints of a plant, animal, or ecosystem using a pre-recorded print-making video (approx. 25 mins). Students will learn about botanical art by Margaret Mee, pioneering artist, explorer, and advocate for the Amazon Rainforest. A synchronous virtual program (45 mins) is offered by Dumbarton Oaks facilitators to engage students in object-based inquiry and cross-disciplinary art-science learning.
