Hong Kong is a country that we all currently live in because you are in it right now. Just like other countries, Hong Kong also has endangered animals. Let me tell you about the Burmese python. You probably don't know this but sadly, it is becoming extinct. Let me tell you about this awesome creature!
A Burmese python is a massive species of snake that is found in Hong Kong. It is a massive creature and I will be telling you about it.
Burmese pythons can have many different colours and here are some:
Juvenile Burmese Pythons look dark yellow and have dark patches all over them.
Adult Burmese Pythons are very long and their skin is very light yellow and has patches. The colour of the patches is dark yellow.
Albino Burmese Pythons are white with very very light patches and if it is super rare, it can be pure white with no patches.
Those are not all the colours of a Burmese python but this is all I can give you.
25 years
They can live up to 25 years.
Habitat loss can cause the huge pythons to act with unnatural actions for the python.
Illegal wildlife trade can harm the animals by people selling the pythons because of their exotic look. They can be looked at as pets in a money way because of their big looks and their albino pure whiteness found in the wild.
Pythons can reach up to 98 kg in weight and are 579 cm long.
Even though the pythons are one of the largest snakes on Earth, they are non-venomous.
A giant female Burmese python was found in Florida with over 60 eggs.
