Hi! 

You all made it through the first week, I'm so proud of you! One week down, plenty more to go. You DO have homework this weekend (check the slides for the information you need to do that well!!) It is due at the BEGINNING OF CLASS on Tuesday! AND if you want to: flip through your textbooks- I will be assigning an article reading and a textbook reading next week, so just be prepared for that. 

I'm still figuring out how to properly upload the slides so that I can quickly upload them daily. Stay tuned.

Hello again!

This weekly summary-type thing will hopefully be posted the weekend before that week so that you all know what to expect throughout the week. :) 

We're diving into actual material this week and starting with the basics of science, atomic history and structure, and then going a bit bigger with molecules, and compounds and electricity! No school on Monday, we will get back into the swing of things on Tuesday with the scientific method (and start our Interactive Notebooks!). On Wednesday we will look into the history of the atom and how we see it, as well as what atoms are made out of. Thursday will be an exploration into molecules and compounds (we go into bonds later this month) and Friday we'll look at electricity and take a pre-assessment quiz.

There will be more homework assigned this week, be ready for a reading (or two).
