Guidance for students

Students who would like to enroll ApL course (Mode 1) should approach the school in the second term of G10. The school has to arrange students to register with the HKEAA for entry to ApL course together with other NSS subjects when applying for participation in the HKDSE examination.

Course fee of ApL courses: The course fee will be covered by the Diversity Learning Grant (DLG) from EDB and the school.

If sufficient enrolment to a particular ApL course is reached (say 25 or more), the school may consider to offer such ApL course (Mode 2). Opinion inclination will be collected from G10 students and parents after the mid-year exam of G10.

For students taking FOUR elective subjects with an ApL course as one of them, the ApL course will be regarded as the fourth elective subject and will NOT be subsidized by the DLG.

Students taking ApL courses are required to attend lessons and participate in learning activities organized by the respective course providers. The minimum attendance requirement of all ApL courses is 80% of the total number of lessons.
