We know that the physical disconnect from school and friends can be difficult for lots of students. Below are some tips for maintaining good mental health at this time. Encourage your children to do the following:
Follow a routine as close to a normal school day as possible.
Take some to pray - prayers of gratitude are always good at challenging times.
Have good sleeping patterns
Maintain some form of daily exercise
Eat well - maintain a healthy diet and regular meal times without too much snacking.
Reach out to friends using social media apps, facetime, and an old-fashioned phone call - hearing our friends' and loved ones' voices is comforting.
Make contact with Year Coordinators or Mentor teachers if students experience any issues at all.
