It is recommended that photography students should have a soft cover small diary / journal and carry a pen with them always. Use your iphone to capture images on the go that inspire you to think creatively.
What advantages are there to keeping a CREATIVE THINKING and ACTING journal that records your observations, creative ideas, critical appraisals, recommendations as well as your thoughts and feelings ?
Does what you see create a narrative?
This lighting interested me. It makes me feel safe/ scared/lonely/excited.....
I liked the repetition of colour/ pattern, line.
I observed the colour of the roses in the fabric was also evident in the lamp that was sitting on the sky blue side table table. The hint of the blue sky peeping through the yellow curtains matched perfectly. The girls yellow shoes drew attention to the bananas on the table.
My dog shook his wet face right in front of my face.I want to capture that moment to show everyone how it made me feel.
The best way to become a good photographer is to challenge yourself. Become an independent learner . Set yourself goals , take risks, allow yourself to make mistakes and learn from them.
Be passionate and determined. Expose yourself to as many exhibitions and images created by great photographers.
