The Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences organized three days yoga workshop was organized by the department of Physical education and Sports Sciences on 18th to 20th October 2021. Acharya Bramdeo Mokoonlall, Arya Pratinidhi Sabha America, Greater Atlanta Vedic Temple was the eminent resource person having an inclusive educational background of Science, Banking (University of Mauritius), Management (ABE, UK) and Darshanacharya, Vedic philosophy (Darshan Yog Mahavidyalaya, Gujarat, India) and a diverse career in financial services, industry and at Arya Sabha Mauritius. He has been a key resource person for Arya Sabha Mauritius on the Universal Vedic Values, Yog & Meditation and on Interfaith & Intercultural dialogue at various national and international forums He is author of numerous insightful articles on Vedic Philosophy and contemporary issues in English & French. The workshop covered 'Gita an overview, Yog in Gita and Karma Sannyasa in Gita.
