The PreK Foundational Skills Surveys are designed to help educators determine how well

pre-kindergarten students are acquiring the skills they will need to become strong decoders in kindergarten and later grades. These Pre-Kindergarten Foundational Skills Surveys enable one-on-one assessment of basic literacy skills like instructional vocabulary, phonological and phonemic awareness, letter

naming, and sound-symbol correspondences.

Each PK4 teacher that holds a Launchpad classroom license can find the FSS under the Supplemental Resources Tab. The Supplemental Resources can be found on the top right-hand corner of the Launch Page.
