In-Depth Research Experiences - We only confer baccalaureate degrees at Davidson, so our students are not competing against graduate students for on campus research opportunities. This enables our students to have experiences earlier in their academic careers and work closely with our nationally renowned faculty in the sciences.
Our Biology faculty members have a wide variety of research interests and often collaborate with students on projects, as well as co-author papers and articles with them - in recent years, 11 biology faculty members and 70 students published 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals
Our Chemistry faculty members often offer students opportunities to co-author with their professors' scientific papers published in journals and presented at regional, national, or international meetings such as those of the American Chemical Society
