A FOCUS ON INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

A FOCUS ON INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

In partnership with International Student Programs, international students received career, internship, and post-graduation resources, preparation, and specific guidance via Curricular Practical Training and Optional Practical Training workshops. The Matthews Center also offered various programs such as the "Impact to Close" programming series to help international students learn how to leverage their experiences and skill sets, build their professional network, and secure employment opportunities.

In collaboration with International Student Programs and The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, 94 Alvarez Grant recipients received more than $245,700 to support their career and academic pursuits and assist them as they participate in an internship, networking, experiential learning opportunities, graduate school visits, professional conferences, and upskilling.
