LAS Links has 4 English Forms: A, B, C and D are available for LAS Links progress monitoring

preLAS English Forms C and D are available for preLAS progress monitoring; preLAS Español Form C is available for preLAS Español progress monitoring

Note: LAS Links offers forms C and D which reports on academic language through content subjects.

Which domains are assessed with preLAS/LAS Links progress monitoring?

For preLAS, DRC recommends that the Oral and the Pre-Literacy components are assessed.

For LAS Links, you have the option of assessing all four language domains or specific domains depending on the needs of your program.

What materials are needed for preLAS/LAS Links ONLINE progress monitoring?

For preLAS Online, you will need student licenses plus the corresponding cue book and game board (if administering the pre-literacy component).

Will we need to administer the Pre-Literacy component for preLAS progress monitoring?

Administering the Pre-Literacy Component is highly recommended. It helps you to monitor student progress along the stages of language acquisition (English and Spanish).

How is the assessment administered?

Both preLAS and LAS Links are offered online and/or via the paper format.

The LAS Links Interactive Reporting provides longitudinal reports are available where student progress is tracked from one testing event to another.
