• 10/6/25 - Levi received Dartmouth's competitive Milham Fellowship!! "Selection criteria included academic achievement, leadership in the research setting, creativity, and promise for contribution to human welfare." Yay, Levi - congratulations!

• 8/26/25 - Calista had her BMES Annual Meeting abstract selected for a poster presentation!

• 8/8/25 - Lab ice cream hangout - thanks to Will Parker and Olivia for being awesome summer interns!

• 7/29/25 - The Hixon Lab + collaborators were given SEVEN oral presentations at the 2025 Biomedical Society (BMES) Annual Meeting - congrats to Adelaide, Afton, Amritha, Aleyna, Levi, Peter, and Jono!

• 6/22/25 - Welcome to Olivia Dossias who was chosen through our Dartmouth REU Program in Materials Science!! We are so excited to have you here this summer!

• 5/20/25 - Afton is this first in the lab to complete her Ph.D. Thesis Proposal! Congratulations, Afton!! 

• 3/31/25 - Congratulations to Mika Box, Matthew Genser, Milenka Men, Georgia Nieh, and Claire Radin on their funded URAD applications for Spring Term!

• 3/14/25 - That's a wrap!! We completed the filming of Dr. Hixon's online Regenerative Medicine course, with special guests including SweetBio's Dr. Isaac Rodriguez. This course focuses on cell therapies, tissue engineering, and organ regeneration, filled with tons of awesome information and even some lab demos. Thank you to all for your participation!

• 2/26/25 - Our very own Katie Cox was accepted to Geisel School of Medicine via the Thayer EAP!! We are so proud of you and can't wait to follow your journey as an MD!

• 2/18/25 - NEW PUB ALERT!! Levi and Mason put together an awesome scaffold pore analysis program (which we have been spoiled with for months). Excited that others can now use it here: https://www.mdpi.com/2310-2861/11/2/132 

• 2/11/25 - The Hixon Lab had a great time at the Annual ORS Meeting in Phoenix, AZ! Peter presented a stellar Rising Star Talk and Adelaide, Afton, Aleyna, Katie, and Peter all showed off their research during the poster sessions. Fun was had by all!

• 2/5/25 - After successfully completing her Qualifying Exam in January, Amritha is officially a Ph.D. candidate!! We are so proud of you, Amritha! 

• 1/6/25 - First day of Winter Term! We want to welcome all of our new first-year WISP and FYREE trainees: Sam Chin, Josefina Fernandez Del Rio, Neva Nemanic, Tatum Saunders, and Alexandra Will. We are excited to work with you!
